With over 26 years of industry experience, Heather Story brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as a Financial Advisor at Genesis Planning & Wealth Management. A native of Northern California, Heather graduated from California State University, Sacramento, and now resides in Rocklin with her daughter Lillianna, their Rottweiler Harley, and beta fish Eclipse.
Heather's journey to financial advising was divinely inspired, following a successful career in various roles, including corporate law, estate planning, and business ownership. Her diverse background enables her to provide comprehensive financial strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. She holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses with LPL Financial, as well as Life, Health, and Disability Insurance certifications.
An avid runner, Heather has completed the Nike Women's Half Marathon twice, along with numerous 5k and 10k races. When she's not helping clients pursue their financial dreams, she enjoys hiking, traveling, golfing, and cheering on her daughter at travel softball games. Heather is actively involved in her community, serving with Rotary International, the Roseville Chamber of Commerce Leadership Alumni, and the SPCA.
Heather's favorite aspect of her role is building lasting relationships with clients, who often become like family and friends. She is committed to putting her clients' needs first, utilizing quality investments to foster long-term growth potential and preservation while aiming to minimize risk and tax implications.
